As a Delaware native, my passion for dogs was ignited in my adolescent years and has been a guiding force ever since. My service as an infantryman in the United States Army instilled in me a sense of discipline and camaraderie, but it was during this period that I faced a personal tragedy; a close friend passed away, entrusting me with his beloved American bully. This dog became a beacon of comfort as I navigated through a challenging time of depression, and in the process, I formed an unbreakable bond with the breed. My affection for the American bully was no longer just a source of personal joy but a calling I felt compelled to share. With unwavering determination, I began researching into the history, characteristics, and care of the American bully breed.
